📘 PROSPER: User Quick-Start Guide
Prioritizing Relief and Operational Support for Predictive Eligibility and Response
1. Introduction
Welcome to the PROSPER Research Interface. This tool is designed to act as your Digital Decision Support Assistant. It analyzes case narratives and suggests appropriate assistance categories to help reduce the time spent on manual triage.
⚠️Note: PROSPER is a support tool. Your professional judgment is the final authority.
2. Getting Started
Access the Portal: Open the provided URL in your web browser.
Login: Enter your assigned User ID and Password.
The Inbox: You will see a list of "Pending Cases." These are anonymized records for evaluation. Click on any case to begin.
3. The Triage Workspace
Once a case is opened, the screen is divided into three sections:
Left (Client Context): View the Problem Statement (the raw story) and the Expert Assessment (the summary).
Center (Your Decision): This is where you perform your work. Use the Checklist to select the assistance programs you believe are correct.
Right (AI Suggestion): PROSPER will display its predictions with Probability Percentages.
💡Tip: A higher percentage (e.g., 85%) means the AI is more confident in its suggestion.
4. Completing an Evaluation (Click-and-Go)
To help our research, please follow these steps for every case:
Step 1
Review & Compare: Read the narrative on the left. Look at the AI’s top suggestions on the right.
Step 2
Make Your Selection: In the center panel, check the boxes for the program(s) you would officially recommend. You can select more than one.
Step 3
Rate Your Confidence: How clear was the narrative? Select your Confidence Level from 1 (Very Low) to 5 (Very High).
Step 4
Label the AI’s Performance: Click the Justification Chip that best describes PROSPER’s suggestion:
🎯 Match: The AI was spot on.
➕ Partial: The AI was right but missed a secondary need.
🔄 Overruled: The AI was incorrect; the narrative meant something else.
❓ Ambiguous: The story was too confusing for both you and the AI.
Step 5
Submit: Click "Submit Final Assessment." The system will automatically move you to the next case.
